Dear Francesco,

The information you need should (!) be in
http://www.radiopics.com/1.%20Manuals/Racal/Racal_RA%201792%20(Maintenance%20Manual).pdf
pages 1-9 to 1-14, but these seem to be missing.
So here are some relevant parts.
Warning: if the Rx is bought via eBay, some boards may have been
changed, invalidating the data on the back plate.

1st suffix: filters
Slot 3 4 5 6 7 1 2
  GA 0.3 1.0 - 6.0 - 3.0 1.0 /kHz
  GP 0.3 1.0 3.2 6.0 - 3.2 3.2
2nd suffix: frequency standard
S0: none; S1: TXCO; S2: 9442 freq. standard kit
3rd suffix: sideband and 100 kHz IF out
0: none; S: SSB with 100 kHz IF out (ST85433)
4th suffix: external control
0: none; D: IEEE 488 (GPIB)
5th suffix: tuning step and special facilities
0: 10 Hz, List Search; 1: 1 Hz, List Search
6th sudffix: power
A: AC; D; DC

Also:
GA/SA/0/0/0/A probably contains a typo
GP/S2/S/D/1/A should also have a backplate mentioning ST82129

Regards,

Raymond
