[Premium-Rx] Softwave by Comfocus

This is a very early computer-controlled rx manufactured in the USA 1994-95.
It is listed in the Fred Osterman Shortwave Receivers handbook. I purchased
this new from Lowe Electronics (UK) 1996 (SN10178) approx £1500. It is still
working perfectly in a dedicated Win-98 PC which has the required VESA
motherboard and AMD u processor, over-clocked @400MHz.

 

I have kept all the original boxing, packaging manual etc. At the time of
purchase, it was amazing to be able to have completely variable selectivity,
synchronous am, audio spectrum analyzer, and a 4MHz rf analyzer! The manual
promised software upgrades to include various data-mode decoders.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer went out of business.

 

I don’t want to sell but would be interested to contact anyone else who has
one of these still in use.
