Gents,

Continuing with this lubrication theme briefly, I find Castrol Molyslip is 
excellent for tuning shaft bearings, particularly for traditional boat 
anchors, once the dried up lubricant has been removed with a solvent.  It's 
thick enough not to drip and make a mess.

Mobil Polyrex grease (blue) is sold specifically for use in dynamotors and
aviation motors.  Aeroshell may be the same thing.  I see it's available in
one-cartridge lots on the web, which would last most of us a lifetime.
