[Premium-Rx] AEG TELEFUNKEN E1800/3 QUESTION.

Greetings to All List Members,
 
Does anyone out there know exactly how the AEG Telefunken  E1800/3  BITE 
Test 00 is actually performed?
 
The Test 00 requires the optional BT1800 Eigentest Module to be fitted and  
claims to check the whole receiver, whereas the Test 01 only tests the 
signal  path from the 1st Mixer to the Demodulator.
 
My question is: Does the AO1700 synthesiser actually generate an HF  signal 
for injection into the front end HT1710 for Test 00 ?
 
If so I would like to know how it does it !!!!! and if possible at  what 
level ?
