[Premium-Rx] WJ-8618A 1st LO synthesizer experience

Hello All,

Does anyone can share experience with WJ-8618A VHF UHF receiver? Especially interested 1st Local Oscillator performance and stability.
If any problems arised with that part of the receiver? Switched reactance tank VCO controlled by digital information from Digital section used there.

WJ-8618 "B" family has improved version and totally different design of 1st LO.
Thanks in advance for the any opinion. Still searching good ideas to replace 1st LO in my REGCO RG-5500...
