Perfect. Thanks Chuck and Tom Bryan, very appreciated.

I had a fault that took me a lot of hours to find. The keyboard was 
not responding - only a few keys did something, and in general the 
radio was almost inoperative. All voltages ok, CPU running.
The KB had a bad hex buffer, but that was not enough. The data bus 
voltage levels were "dirty"" and low on a few bits. After MANY hours 
I isolated the fault to the BFO board. The usual tantalum shorted, an 
inductor acted as fuse, and the BFO synth chip was draining current 
from the bus, blocking everything. Now all ok... I suspected the 
display driver board, but it was not, at the end.
