[Premium-Rx] Marco Press-Lite switch needed for WJ

Hi all,
I don't have any of those switches, only a repair suggestion.

I assume the switch and light are separate circuits in the switch? If so and
the signal  being switched is a low current signal, it's not wetted or not
well wetted,  then I'd try are recover the contact.

If it is a contact wetting problem rather than a pitted contact problem then
I'd give the following a go -  I've done this on relays in the past that
have gone open contact with success, should work on switches too I expect.

Put a DC power supply on current limit below the contact rating (say 1/2 to
2/3) and voltage setting below rating. Connect this across the contact and
operate the switch/relay as quickly as possible. Eventually the oxide
coating will break down and return the switch to being operational. As you
can't operate a switch as quickly as a relay, you perhaps may need to
increase the voltage to rating or above to start the breakdown process or
just be patient operating that switch? And of course if it's double throw
you'll potentially need to address the other side as well.

If that fails or it's a pitted contact problem then ... not sure if it's a
round or square you're after but there were some round Marco switches on
eb*y recently .

Does anyone have an unneeded Marco Press-Lite switch?  The red pushbutton
switch used in a lot of 70s WJ gear.  The one in my quad-8 went permanently
off.
