[Premium-Rx] Racal RA1778 seeks good UK home

A few years ago I bought a nice pair of ex-BBC Racal RA1778s. The original
plan was to restore one and use the other as spares. What with one thing and
another this never happened and I sold one last year, since when the other
one has been quietly gathering dust. I don’t think I’m ever going to get
round to restoring it, so I’m now offering it to a good home in advance of
putting it on eBay.   

The receiver works – or did last time I tried it – and is in quite good
cosmetic condition. It needs some TLC and a caring owner keen to restore it
to its former glory. I don’t especially want to ship it and would much
prefer to deliver it or have it collected. An RA1778 in this sort of
condition generally fetches about £500 and offers are welcome.
