Hello group,

I have decided to sell my RA6830-516.
These modification has been done by Dallas Lankford:

(1) a 10 kHz BW roofing filter in the high (40.455 MHz) IF
(2) a custom built black anodized spin knob
(3) a grounded tuning knob shaft for RFI suppression
(4) fan speed reduction to reduce fan noise
(5) additional vent holes in the case to compensate for fan speed reduction

The alphanumeric and frequency displays are red LED's.
The filters are the standard 0.3 kHz, 1 kHz, 3 kHz, and 6 .kHz bandwidths.
The modes are AM (synchronous detection), USB, LSB, CW, and FM.
Tuning steps are 1 Hz, 10 Hz, and 100 Hz.
The frequency range is 0.500000 - 29.999999 MHz.
FAST, MEDIUM, and SLOW AGC may be selected, with and without VARIABLE gain.
MANUAL gain control is also available.
The meter is an LED bar graph, and may be set to show either RF (received
signal level) or AF (line audio level). The BFO is adjustable in 10 Hz
steps over a range of +/- 8 kHz.
