Gentlemen, I recently purchased a used JRC NRD-535D HF receiver in working condition, and also bought a Kiwa Electronics NRD-535 Audio Upgrade kit which I have since installed. After having had time to evaluate the radio’s performance, I have several questions which I hope someone familiar with it will be able to answer for me. Even though the receiver works well, I think that it would probably benefit from a complete alignment. In order to accomplish that though, I will need to locate a JRC NJZ-667 Extension Circuit Board; any source(s)? I have also noticed that the service manual commonly available on the Internet is not very comprehensive. I downloaded three copies from different sites, but they are all identical (106 pages) and are missing substantial alignment/adjustment details, etc.On the CMF-78 ECSS Unit, for example, the “Service Manual” only mentions a VCO adjustment and nothing about the remaining three potentiometers and two variable inductors. I suspect that there is a more complete maintenance manual out there and wish to obtain a copy. BTW, does JRC still support their older equipment at all? Thanks, Pete [KA5FUN]
