Howdy,
As a result of spring garage cleaning I found one more box that had an A5
rev D ISB board and a pair of the matched USB/LSB crystal filters 8409/8410
that should have a new home.
The board is untested, really, as in not known bad, as I pulled it a couple
years ago from a receiver missing the main board, the filters came from
another similarly situated orphan missing several other boards, and I had set
them aside for a rainy day project. The filters seem to have the
appropriate bandwidth and passed signal when inserted into my test mule receiver
but haven't been checked thru byte or swept. The 8409 pins wiggle a bit but
not so much that they push back in the filter housing or short to the case
as near as I can tell when I put them in the mule, but should be stabilized.
I'll ask $200 Paypal for the lot AS IS plus shipping if anyone is
interested before they head to E swamp, tell me I'm whack if the price seems high
and you really want them, and will consider any interesting trades if I get
no cash takers (or if the trade is really good :) for some combination of
decently used stuff selected from the group consisting of a good Fluke VOM,
RF or scope probes, an SX122 working or parts radio as long as it has the
bandspread cap, 455 khz cw or am filters that can be made to work in an
elderly HQ215, or 9 mhz cw/ am filters like the old McCoys as I'm building a
vintage project, any R4C roofing filter or switch boards, or a 3 or 4 khz R4C
bandpass filter). Or anything else that guys of our ilk might like, as
long as it's something I can use and won't put back in a box in the
garage......
Thanks, Scott ka9p
