I have thought of adding a page for manufacturers of receiver
accessories if I stumbled on some compelling historical incident that
made them attractive.

Spectrum displays are the main item I am considering as they are sexier
than modems. SDUs became an invaluable tool in SIGINT work.

I have a collection of material on Panoramic spectrum displays and
analyzers, but little source material on their history. It appears they
made the first receiver spectrum display unit. Most of my Panaromic
material is from the 50s and 60s. If anyone has anything connected with
the WWII products like the PCA-2 T-200 (which Hallicrafters rebranded
and sold as the common SP-44) please contact me.

As for modems and their cousins, multiplexers, I have a small collection
of multiplexing units, manuals and sales information. They were the rage
in the days before digital forms of multiplexing.

Up to this point, the CEI designed telephone multiplex receiving system
is the only one for which I am developing web pages. I have stories and
photos of them installed in trucks and used to intercept terrestrial
phone calls. They would drive out and find choice spots to sit and
siphon off signals from Ma Bell's microwave relay system.
