[Premium-Rx] OT Thales Mackay TMR6490 Control Unit

I know this is a bit off topic but it does have an association  with modern 
premium equipment, receivers and otherwise, and I can't think  of anywhere 
better to ask:-)
 
As per the subject line, I'm looking for information  regarding the Thales 
Mackay TMR6490 controller that's been specified as  either a local or remote 
controller for a variety of Thales communications  systems, from standalone 
transceivers to individual drive units or  receivers, and even some high 
power transmitters.
 
There's plenty of references to this online, including this  extract from a 
Thales Naval HF catalogue......

but I've found nothing that remotely resembles any technical  information.
 
The unit itself is based on commercially available parts, a  486 single 
board computer plus a plasma display and a keypad controller, so  finding data 
on the individual components isn't an issue, but what I'm  looking for is 
anything that relates to its intended use as a communications  system 
controller and its configuration to enable that.
