 Hello Good People in a Gang,

"The hell with shaft encoder and scanned displays" - I got my own experience with that in "Sait Electronics" MR-1543,
MR-14501 HF Maritime Receivers in early 90s...Spent many hours to locate the prodlem. But find nothing...
In the end decided to change original construction: wisp of wires from digital readout PCB on backside of front
panel cutted, make it much shorted, screening them all well and relocate ground point for screen.
Find out it experimentally. After that modification problem disappieared totally. Receiver in use till now and all OK.

So, if problems with digital interference happen during reception- something going wrong with digital circuit design,
screening, wrong ground point location...Not ease to fix, but possible...
