[Premium-Rx] WJ website renovation and a new site

I've created a new website to house all the non-WJ information that is
piling up. It's called Black Radios, for reasons that will be obvious
to many of you. It is pretty thin right now, but it has been structured
to accommodate a large amount of information and stories I will be sharing.

I'm also part way through revamping my WJ website, which was centered on
the Gaithersburg division even though Watkins-Johnson was a much larger
company with many interesting communication and electronics divisions.
It will take a while to work all the bugs out as I started the site 18
years ago and the internal structure has grown to be a mangled mess.

I am deeply saddened that I will not get to spend more time with Dick
Johnson, who passed away Sunday. I was looking forward to another visit
after he could read my work in the wake of the long interviews and
assistance he has given me. It is ironic that I reached the point where
the changes to my web publications were ready to start rolling out just
as he passed away.
This research has eclipsed the time I had to tinker with radios. As
time allows and economic need dictates, I will be posting equipment,
parts and documents for sale on my website. My research expenses are
substantial and I don't need to own this stuff to write about its
history. Something has to give as I need to get on with this work.
Four former employees and now Dick Johnson, excellent sources I was
fortunate to interview, have already gone into the ether. Time is
clearly of the essence.
Please don't write to me asking for things. I know you may feel
desperate. I know as well as anyone else how rare this equipment and
documentation is, but I am unlikely to reply as I need to conserve my
spare time to pursue this research.

P.S. If all that interests you is WJ/CEI radios, the old site is more
or less intact inside the new one at:
