Hi:

I think the ultimate test of a receiving antenna is to use it with a chirp sounder receiver like the RCS5.
Since most chirp transmissions cover 2 to 30 MHz you get to pick where in the world you're interested in and see how a 
given antenna works for that signal.

Note this is for a broadband antenna, when resonating an antenna the performance is harder to test.  One way would be to 
use the NCDXF beacons.
