Don't feel bad. I've been there and done that. I had one (forget which model) on the bench that a client brought in. It was bought with the intention of commercial monitoring and they needed it fixed before i could do the custom mods that they required. I confess that I did some serious head-scratching before I spotted the voltage selector card setting.
Needless to say, I kept that repair detail a secret ... I didn't have the nerve to charge them for the 1-hour "bench time", either.
These things happen.

Thank you so much for all of your help. this list is really great. It was a very simple silly mistake. The radio was still set for 220 Volts. Duh ?
Well, now I am putting the covers on and getting ready to put it through the paces.
The suggestions were excellent.
