Keith,

There are a fair number of these kicking around.  I have a TW-100 and a 
TW-100F "Fly-Away" in a Halliburton case.   There is also an RT-100 
that's a military field version.  They perform well and are reasonably 
easy to work on.  Watch out for crappy keypads and push buttons.   I'd 
expect you can snag something for well less that a grand.

They have memories and scanning capability, but they are a pain to tune 
around the band.
