[Premium-Rx] Can I open the audio output of the 6790 repeatedly to mute without damage?

YES!
The audio output is an LM377 dual amplifier of the sort designed for car
radios. It is stabilized with a lot of feedback, and could care less
whether it does ore doesn't have a load.
