[Premium-Rx] CSMA interface on WJ HF1000A, state of investigations

Dear list,
I now got the interface "kind of" working.
It seems that WJ has a strange implementation, if I use the 5-byte format for the frequencies, the receiver goes to weird frequencies above 65 Mhz. The 4-byte format works ok, but few programs support that format. I have software version 4.1.04 of the radio, Dave (http://n9ewo.angelfire.com/wj8711.html) talks about "CSMA fixes" in version 4.1.05, so maybe that is where I am stuck.
The radio does not automatically send changes to the interface, and the interface allows remote control only when "remote" is on, then no local operation is possible.
Conclusion: it works, but it is almost useless.
Thanks for all your help!
Best regards,
kai
