[Premium-Rx] Rockwell Collins HF-2050 receiver for sale

I have for sale a good condition HF-2050 premium receiver. Face is
in good condition - all lettering intact, although one L does have a scratch.  There are a few scratches and scrapes around the edges of the front panel. This unit comes with a spare front panel where the condition is almost mint.  All controls work as I believe they would and the unit passes the BITE test.  Included is some operational instructions downloaded from a variety of on line sources but this is not an full user manual.  The radio works well but does have one intermittant issue.  There appears to be a bad trace or cold solder joint on the circuit board for the right hand display that shows the receive options.  Every few months the small > symbols which show the selected options will disappear.  The radio still works and you can still change the settings. It is then necessary to remove one screw, drop the front panel and press on the circuit board with a non conductive tool (pencil eraser)to get them to reappear. If you are a bit more ambitous the spare front panel
 could be swapped over to hopefully make a permanent fix.  This would require also swapping the tuning encoder (4 wires) and 3 button tops missing from the spare panel. I've adjusted the price down to reflect this fault.  Includes a small muffin fan with rheostat to assist in cooling the power supply.  Price is $1550.00 plus shipping.
