[Premium-Rx] Dancom R201 SSB MF/HF receiver - question about power connector pinning

I've recently acquired on of these nicely build marine receivers but I
have a bit of a quandry. Does anyone on the list have a Dancom R201
receiver and would know about the pinning on the power connector. I
don't have a power cord so there isn't any clue about connecting up
power. To further confuse the issue there are two 6 pin sockets on the
back, one female and one male. The schematic shows one is power input
(ac - pins 2 & 6 with 1 gnd and dc - pins 3 and 5 with 4 gnd) and the
other one is IF output but there is no indication which is which. The
power socket has both 110 and 220 as well as 24v input but no
indication on the socket as to which pins are which. Also the wires
connected to the sockets aren't easily traced without disassembly.
On the schematic one plug is numbered (from the 12 o'clock position,
clockwise) 1 2 3 4 5 6 while the other is labelled (from the 6 o'clock
position, clockwise) 1 2 3 4 5 6. I don't know if there is a
convention that somehow distinguishes male from female based on this
sequence.
I would normally expect that the male socket (aka would then be with a
female power plug) would make more sense for power input but looking
at the female socket I see that two of the pin receptacles are larger
which might better reflect AC power input. Also since I would prefer
to power with DC there is no indication of polarity.
I'm hoping someone has one of these receivers and can offer some
advice before I end up frying something or have to disassemble to
trace all the wired.
cheers
Chris
