[Premium-Rx] Fw: esm1001

Hello group. 
Not sure it this message was recieved,so I am posting again.
Anyone out there in the vhf/uhf community have available in pdf format or paper copie's the schematics for the ESM1001receiver ? I have workshop manuals but no circuits.
In particular the IF converter & tuner modules. mine is very deaf... The set receives but has no Manual gain control or 40db attenuator?? Any advice or pointers would be greatfully appreciated.
Is it a program issue or switch setting....Has anyone had a similar problem?
I have had several of these receivers in the past (wish I still had them) but none have exibited this problem.
