[Premium-Rx] Rohde & Schwarz EK-07

Hi ...
I know the EK-07 does not comply with the criteria as a Premium RX however 
...

I have been trying to get one to work for a friend. As far as I can 
ascertain the 1st Local Oscillator (Ro13i, ECC801s, 12AT7) has gone AWOL.
The modular construction and weight (65Kg) make it very awkward to work on. 
All the relays in that area work, as does the 3.4-6.4MHz oscillator. Gaining 
access to the under-chassis components around the 1st LO requires the PSU 
and mains filter to be removed. When I removed the lid, 2 washers and a 
ferrite slug fell out. So I reckon someone has been in there before. Before 
anyone comments, I did look to see if the slug had fallen out of an inductor 
... but no.

So ... Anyone out there intimate with the EK-07? Anyone know what might stop 
the 1st LO from running.
