[Premium-Rx] WJ8711A INFO WANTED

Greetings to all,
 
I recently acquired an A2 Digital Control PCB to upgrade an 8711A. It  is 
an assembly ASSY904978 - 3.
 
U56 is 900719-002 Ver 04.02.08 and U12 is  900721-001 ver 04.01.10
 
Despite various efforts I have not yet managed to get it to perform.
 
The Dallas RAM is OK and the EPROMS work OK in another, different,  
(earlier?) ASSY797214  A2  board.
 
On switch on it just stays in "Cold Start" mode.
 
The only Jumper is on J14 pins 9 - 10.
 
I wondered if any other Jumpers were required? Or if there might be an  
incompatibility issue with the Front Panel which is a ver 1.21?
 
Any wisdom/advice/suggestions would be very welcome !!!
