[Premium-Rx] WJ-8617 SSB Issue.

Hi All,

I've just dropped on my second WJ-8617, not an easy thing to 
do in the UK as there aren't very many this side of the pond.
My new 
one is performing well, but has one issue I'd like to get to the bottom 
of, in that the SSB is completely none functional on both sidebands.

The A3A14 SSB board is fitted, so it's not just a case of someone 
having removed the option board.
I have a full copy of the service 
manual, but unfortunatly it does not include the SSB option card. It 
only includes the schematic of the SSB bypass card, which is fitted if 
the SSB card isn't.
When I select either sideband the receiver audio 
mutes until I select one of the other modes. I get the same result if I 
remove the SSB PCB altoghther, so I'm guessing its some sort of signal 
rooting issue.

Does anyone have a copy of the schematic for the SSB 
option card?
If not, does anyone know if this is a common fault. There 
are two tantalum capacitors on the PCB that I have already checked out 
but they seem fine.
I only got the receiver this afternoon and haven't 
looked at it in any great detail yet. I have a working SSB board in my 
other receiver, plus a set of extender cards, which will make fault 
finding relatively pain free, but as with all these things a schematic 
makes understanding whats going on a lot easier.
