I have a clean R8B for sale if anyone is interested or knows anyone that
might be interested.  It is in nice shape.  Only cosmetic flaw is a rub on
one folded edge of the cabinet that cut the vinyl covering.  It's about a
half inch long.

I recently replaced the tuning encoder with a Drake updated part.  It has a
metal shaft unlike the plastic one of the original.  It has a Ten-Tec tuning
knob that greatly improves the tuning feel...one of the biggest complaints
with the R8 series receivers.

I have also done a battery backup mod that keeps the clock settings when AC
power is lost.

Comes with the original manual.
