In addition to Danny's great explanation, be aware that some of the 1.4 
MHz filters offered on eBay have been of 50 Ohm impedance and thus will 
/not/ work in the 1772 directly which requires filters of approximately 
1 k Ohm impedance, despite what the listings may say.
