The WJ Quad 8 is a landmark receiver. The first digitally controlled
synthesized HF radio ever made. I've done many interviews with engineers
from the project and collected a wealth of materials. I'll be publishing
a story on its development in the near future.

Definitely a PremiumRX, based on historical importance, price and
construction quality.

P.S. I just wrapped up a story on the WJ-8617/8618 receiver series. The
editor at Popular Communications told me it will be in the November issue.

Financial disclaimer: I'll be raking in the big bucks when you purchase
this issue - at least five cents per hour of my time.
