Hi Adam,

I'm very well indeed. Nice to hear from you again!

In addition to the RA-1792 I have a very few relics: A TR-28 25W 2-12MHz manpack using the old BU-102 sweep transistors in the PA with Portuguese version front panel markings - a relic of the old Portuguese colonial times in Mozambique. I'm sure that you'll recall this radio?

I also have and a much later TR-178 from the post Racal period. This is a 10w HF SSB manpack which, including manual ATU and battery box is a little bigger than an Icom IC 706 and had a great receiver and very clean synthesizer. A lovely rugged little radio!

Regrettably I left behind a TR-15A 100W HF SSB transceiver because it was just too heavy to ship. The speech processing on that rig was really quite excellent. Haven't seen the like since

I really should spend a bit more time using them! I'll have occasion to come up to BC sometime in the months ahead and I'll be sure to give you a call.

Hi France,

Nice to see you on here. How have you been?

I do not own any "relics" of my time at Racal. All that got left behind when
I left the "old country".

Cheers for now, 73,
