across on another list.  He's in Haiti!

Got this e-mail from Joe..looks like he's head back to Haiti....


 Hi Ed:

Bonjour, Good to hear from you.... Glad to hear that you and Joanne are
happy and well, enjoy life guys, its far to short and we don't pull the
strings! I am back in Canada Via Port au Prince, Miami, NYC, Chicago,
Denver, LA, Calgary. All is well, didn't want to leave Haiti for "R & R",
cuz we face the same "STOMACH ISSUES" back here as there!!!! Its really hard
on the body, hi, hi. We get soft here only to have to face the 3rd world
pain again. Haiti you ask, because you ask, like no place I have ever been
and I been in my share of do-zees. Haiti was in BIG trouble long before the
Jan 12th Earthquake, years with Papa Doc and then Baby Doc, along with the
other Govt bandits, the 50 or so families that own 100% of Haiti, the gangs,
the crooks, the hurricanes, the French 150 Million Franc tribute, isolation,
etc, etc, etc.... The earthquake just kinda, just maybe finished her off?

 Its some kinda mess, picture if you would, Calgary flat, pan-caked, toppled
and in rubble, add countable dead in the 100,000's, no one with a drivers
licence but EVERYONE with a car, truck, SUV, tap-tap, Chinese motorcycle, no
traffic control, she is WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BIGGEST ROLLING INSANE ASYLUM on
the planet, hands down. I have a DVD of photos.....

 On the flip side, the greatest people you'll ever come across, we have such
a good time, its worth the pain. My French about as good as my Creole. Radio
in Haiti, Rap/Gangsta/Hip-Hop FM.
