Offered for your consideration is a Drake MSR/FM-P receiver. The MSR /
DSR series is perhaps best known for its wide frequency coverage
(0.01-30 MHz), Nixie tube frequency display, and unique tuning
arrangement permitting repeatedly tuning from one end of frequency range
to the other without reversing direction.

According to a Drake document found on the web, “The Model MSR/FM-P
Receiver is a basic DSR-2 Receiver with modifications to provide for
reception of frequency modulated signals, remote frequency control and
display, and a wide band IF output for spectrum display." "The remote
control feature is implemented through the use of an external input
voltage to a voltage-controlled oscillator that takes the place of the
normal VFO signal."

I am downsizing my collection for retirement. This unit is in excellent
physical condition and was checked by a former Drake tech in 2006. The
only known issues identified were an intermittent s-meter (apparently a
problem with the meter itself), and lower sensitivity at the higher end
of the frequency range. The latter seems to be fairly common with these
units. The Nixies are generally good. Pictures will be available over
the weekend upon request. The receiver will be shipped in a
foam-in-place box. Any documentation in my files it will be included.

Asking $700.00 plus actual shipping and insurance. Please contact off-list.

Thank you.
