[Premium-Rx] new member and tech help needed!

Hi I am Andrea from Florence, Italy.

I like to listen to ham, bc and utility stations. As HAM radio operator I
like to make qso in AM and SSB.

My interest is related to vintage premium rx and related stuff.

I like to restore receiver and make them work again. I am not a good
technician but i am learning.


Now i am restoring maybe one of the best tube receivers ever built. The
Rhode & Schwartz EK07/D2

the RF and BF sections are ok, but i am trying to repair the digital readout
that was retrofitted by R&S
in 1975.

This radio cames with analog reading of khz, but in the seventies the analog
readout was replaced
on some models with a digital one , the problem is that it is not documented
in the manual, so
i have some problems in finding what is wrong and why the display is dead.

Maybe someone has already worked on EK07/d2 and can help me.....
