[Premium-Rx] FS: Racal RA6217A HF General Coverage Receiver

I 'sold' an RA6217A on eBay.

The 'buyer' used a bogus name, phone number and mailing address (the street
doesn't exist) for a Yahoo email account, and then used that account to sign
up for an eBay account just to activate my 'Buy it now' and kill the
auction.

Now eBay wants me to try to 'work things out' with this scumbag for a week
(who, of course, won't respond to email) before they will refund my selling
fee, then wait yet another week for the relisted auction to reach its
conclusion.

I want it gone, so it's for sale here to US buyers at $425 plus shipping
from 48322.

The power cord is frayed in a few places and, while it works for me, you may
choose to replace it.  Also, the meter does not register received signal
strength but does change with audio.  Other than that it's pretty nice.

Included in this auction is a great copy of the Operator's Guide / Service
Manual, complete with alignment instructions and schematics.

This has happened to me once or twice before - I don't understand why
someone would go through all that trouble just to screw up an auction for
someone.
