Hi,
When I first acquired my 1778, the PSU was "dead" due to a failed LM324
OP-Amp on the AFC PCB. One way to "fix" this would have been to
disconnect the +12v feed from the PCB, effectively disconnecting the AFC
option. I have no idea if this is a common fault or not.
I simply replaced the U/S IC, from memory IC10 but I am at work so will
confirm it later.
