Hi Eugene,
The A17 Remote Protector Assembly (10215-6220), on the RF-590A, is nothing more than a small board with connectors and protection devices that is mounted on the back panel of the radio. It provides the external remote interface connections for the outside world. Perhaps, you were interested in the A14 Control Board Assembly (10215-2800-01) which has the radio's CPU as well as the external interface circuitry (that connects to the A17 board)?
The R-2368B does not use an A-17 board. Instead, it has an A25 EMP/EMI Suppression Assembly (10215-6850) that serves a similar function as the A17 on a RF-590A. Like the RF-590A, the R-2368B also has an A14 Control Board (10215-2800-02) with the radio's CPU and external interface circuitry (it connects to the A25 board).
Regards,
Matt

Subject: [Premium-Rx] RF-590A A17 board p/n?
Hi there.
Anyone with a 590A (Or R-2368) or a manual to one ? I am looking for the
part number for the A17 board. I suspect it is a different part number than
the regular 590 receiver since this board takes ascii commands on the 590A
and binary commands on the 590.
Anyone have a part number for a 590A-A17 control board? Thanks!
73 Eugene W2HX
