I have no stake in the sale of the Mason A-3B suitcase spy radio posted 
on eBay

but the owner sent me the Mason documents for scanning including a very 
rare service manual with full schematics and I am quite grateful for his 
help.

His listing won't attract the attention it should because of 
misspellings and lack of radio knowledge.  This looks identical to the 
radio featured on the Smithsonian website and in a recent museum exhibit 
in Wash. DC.  It's a rare radio.
