Hello Group,

the pristine HF-2050 offered by Joe Talbot two weeks ago might be
available again. Please contact Joe directly if you are interested.

I airmailed Joe a cheque from my account with Wells Fargo Bank in San
Francisco, Ca. Unfortunately it was in transit for 10 days from Germany
to Alberta, Canada and worse the teller at his local bank in Canada had
never seen a cheque from Wells Fargo Bank (that is the one with the
stagecoach motive). Anyhow any US cheque at his local bank is held for
15 days to make perfectly sure that it clears.

Unfortunately I didn't understand beforehand that timing was an issue,
maybe the language barrier or what else. I even missed to check on the
meaning of the wording 'bank draft'. This is probably a form of secure
payment??? It is too late over here, already a quarter to 4 in the
morning to do a Google search.

My first idea after I expressed my interest was PayPal and I even
offered to pay the fees but Joe declined because of the rumors involving
PayPal.

I am sorry that it turned out this way but I don't want to stay in Joe's
way if other buyers are offering a lot more $$$ and immediate payment by
Western Union.

I just checked Western Union myself, fees are about $70 and worse, as a
new customer I am not allowed to transfer more than €500 which is about
US $700 within 30 days. This is to save me from losing too much in
Nigeria fraud.

Anyhow I am sorry for any inconveniance
