[Premium-Rx] EKD 500 (514): Problem with PC-Interface

Hello Group.

I´m quite new to this group. A new acquisition is a EKD 514 from RFT.
Being inspired by a mail not so long ago I have the following question:

To prepare the receiver for this connection, I press EXT and the LED starts 
flashing.
When I connect to the receiver and send the sequence "C01" (41 30 31) there 
is no response from the receiver.
The LED is still flashing.

Even if I put both lines (105, 106, RTS, CTS) on +10 V the LED does not stop 
flashing (which it should according to the manual). So I suspect an error in 
this path

Is there any "usual fault" in the RS232 interface of this receiver?
