Hi, thanks for the response. Here is what I have, two 8626A-4s that are
in a frame with individual P/S and 50MHz reference clocks. As per your
description these do not have Hand Off.

I also have two more receivers in a full 9040 frame with a single power
supply and multiple output clock and these have the Hand Off/STO along with
the other buttons as you described.

Finally, I have a 9040 rack with 4 8626A-1s installed, each .5 to 30Mhz
range.

As to the manual, I will try DRS to see if they will have a copy on hand.

The 8626A-4s all work, I would like to have the keystroke procedure to put
the radios through their paces.

One more question, since these are all 86xx series receivers, could these
be interfaced with the 8610 controller that I have on hand the same way I do
for the 8615s I have?

Again, thanks for your input, George Michael

Hi George,
Not all 8626A-4 receivers can do handoff. Check your keypad for the
following buttons. LH keypad 2nd button on the left column needs to be
marked H/Off and STO right below it. The 2nd button on the right hand
column should be marked Ctrl and Exec below it. The 2nd button on the
center column should be marked Exam and below it RCL. If they are not
marked
like that you don't have a handoff receiver.

Documentation is somewhat had to get. I can't copy manuals due to the
fact that DRS (WJ was bought by them) does enforce their copyright and I
do
business with them. You could call DRS about getting a manual. BTW,
their
manuals start at $125.00 and go up from there. They show up on eBay
sometimes.

I can copy a couple of pages from the manual (with out having copyright
issues), but it will probably be a week or 2 until I can get to it.

Regards,
Geoff
