Anyone care to send me (either publicly or privately via email)
any documentation, spec sheets, manuals, pointers to software, etc for a
1990s era Watkins Johnson WJ-9114 VXI receiver card ?
And does anyone care to comment about what systems and purpose
this card was engineered for ?
Yes, I grabbed *that* one (for far too much).
Seems from the front panel to be a double conversion synthesized
receiver with 2 RF inputs... an IF output and a SDU output and of course
the required 10 MHz reference input.
I rather suspect from what I know otherwise that it is intended
as a downconverter/tuner in front of a high spec A/D card...
I do know there was WJ-9111 VXI board or board set that was
intended as a high spec high SFDR HF band tuner in front of a 20 or 24
bit (18-20 bit effective performance) VXI A/D board... this card is
likely from the same family.
