[Premium-Rx] OT: Help sought to transport

Hello all,

 

I am trying to get a rather heavy radio power supply from NY to Toronto
Surplus without breaking the bank. Is there any chance that someone on this
list is planning a trip to Toronto and would be willing to help me get it
there? I would be willing to drive several hours to meet up with you.  In
fact, I plan to be a NEAR-Fest in NH on May 1 and 2 in case that works or
could be part of the adventure.  I am not under any time limits, so please
think out many months if necessary.

 

The unit is a Harris RF-112,  3-phase power, weighs ~ 150lb (exceeds the
fedex weight limits). Its not very big actually and is currently boxed for
transport (it can be unboxed if necessary).   UPS wanted nearly $400 to ship
this and frankly, the unit isn't worth anywhere near that. I have
investigated some freight options as well. 

 

Money is available to help get the package to its destination if that helps.
