[Premium-Rx] Replacing old tantalums?

Good news for me, an HP Manual Change indicates these particular caps can be replaced with 100uf/25V aluminum electrolytics. Whew!

You had me in shock too, enough to cause me to send an empty  reply:-)

I don't know what you're looking at but it must be something pretty  exotic.

I've just checked a fairly typical bead tantalum, 4u7 at 16v, in the UK  
Farnell catalogue and can source those for the equivalent of 20 to 30 cents  
each!
