Hi Spencer,

When the need arises, I use an HP 8653E spectrum analyser with a 2.4 GHz
omnidirectional WiFi antenna.

Cheers for now, 73,

Subject: [Premium-Rx] Microwave 'listening'

Greetings to the list-

I am curious if there are any list members that spend much time listeing to
or detecting signals using premium RX's above 1 GHz.

If you are involved in this sort of thing, what are you using for reception
(say Microtel or WJ receivers or satellite downconverters or...)?

What about antennas? Helical, dish with a broadband feed, microwave log
periodic, omni?

What signals do you see, hear, demodulate?

Please post to the list or if you prefer, send me an email directly.

Thanks!

Spencer Bahner N7UMO
