[Premium-Rx] Microtel WR-550 Receiver

Season's greetings to all!

A friend of mine is seeking information about a Microtel WR-550  
Receiver. Any insights, information you could give him would be  
sincerely appreciated. He has part of the antenna kit for this unit  
(1-12.4 GHz active log periodic (MPS-50), and three horns from 30 MHz  
- 100 MHz) and would like to know about the receiver part. We believe  
it was a government surveillance receiver system which was used prior  
to the introduction of the Microtel PR-700.
