Gentlemen, the news is GOOD.  TNR (address and phone below) sent me a 
direct replacement battery for my radio.  The radio is even now cooking 
away and has regained all its old vigor.  This is a DIRECT REPLACEMENT 
-- drop in -- no boards, no mods, no nothing - replacement for the OEM 
battery.  A little pricey, but I'm not complaining.

Advertised price was $10.80+/-  by my memory.  BUT there was a $35 
minimum order.  The very nice lady who took my order said if I was 
willing to pay $15 they would waive the minimum order.  A no brainer for me!

wait for it..........  FREIGHT CHARGE --  $9.68

But I'm not complaining.  For $24.68 I have a full functioning W-J 
beauty once again.
