[Premium-Rx] WJ 8718A/MFP Battery Rebuild

Good Morning, a trip to the local Batteries Plus emporium provided 
worlds of entertainment but no help at all in trying to get the pristine 
battery case (Dataguard 2.4 V. NiCad) rebuilt -- their best advice:  Try 
Radio Shack!!  So much for that!

Has anyone found any place where I can get the battery rebuilt?  I have 
a gentleman interested in acquiring the radio and I want to insure that 
it is in as good operating condition as it was last time I used it.
