I tend to agree with Walter!

He HF-2050 is still one of the best that you can get.

 I have owned the Harris 590 AND compared to the 2050 they are a world apart
.Not to mention those little tantalum capacitors that tend to short out all
over(Racal<Harris).

Once you got reed of the heat the rest is pure pleasure!!
