As far as durability, those Allen Bradley mod pots are horrible little
things. You can trick them into functioning well beyond their design
life by judicious use of graphite lock lube. It works on a noisy pot
like a miniature pothole filler on a bumpy road.

If they unscrew, open it up and paint it on with a swab. If they are
riveted, drill a tiny little hole near the edge by the back cap. Don't
let the drill more than just break through to the inside and dribble
some in with the radio on it's face so the graphite ends up on the
conductive strip. Use very little because the stuff is conductive and
messy.

Otherwise, the best way to replace them is to scrap them out of old
equipment. I find a lot of them in biomedical equipment that was made
in smaller lots.
