Welcome to the dead zone!

I also own the same rcvr and I'm very pleased with
it's performance. Numerous emails and phone calls to
Cubic Corporation have netted zero results on the
software and their website states that the software
can only be purchased with the purchase of the radio.
I would love to have the Cubic Corporation software
for remote control and for the processing of the
serial formatted I&Q signals. I had thought at the
time of purchase that the I&Q output would work with
any of the SDR software but it's format is completely
different. I2PHD/Alberto indicated that his free SDR
software Winrad would handle this serial formatted I&Q
data stream via a Windows I/O DLL. Both the SDR
sofware and the instructions to write the DLL are on
http://www.weaksignals.com/ . I have not attempted
this, as it appears to need two way communications
with any external hardware and the Cubic 3280 does not
appear to provide for that two way communications on
the same port as the I&Q stream. My software skills
are minimal, to say the least.

If you should come up with any contacts at Cubic
Corporations that are useful or any other source of
the software functions needed, please inform me as
soon as possible. The 3280 is an excellent rcvr in
stand alone mode.
